This family shoot has the sweetest story behind it. as a gift for their father's 70th birthday his children booked me to follow them on a tour around his childhood hometown. there he regaled us with stories of his youth, explained how things had changed, what had stayed the same and enjoyed the sweet nostalgia. i think it is one of the most wonderful ideas behind a photoshoot that i've ever heard, and i hope that anyone reading this is inspired to do a similar thing for their parents, or grandparents. it's such a gift to hear the stories they have to tell, and even more special to have it captured in a photograph.
